The fruit of the Spirit isn't going to happen on its own. Your own choices will determine your destiny. What changes do you need to make in your lifestyle, in your associations, in anything and everything you do that can better allow for your spiritual growth?

Jesus tells us that we must deny ourselves take up our cross and follow
Him.( Mark 8:34) In order to grow we must remove the things which hinder
our spiritual growth. Self is something that will keep any christian from
growing. We have all been given a cross to bear and bearing this cross
with Jesus will help us become more like Him.

This process can be painful and it can be difficult but the life with
Christ in control is far better than if we are in control of our own
lives.

Prayer: Father thank you for Jesus Christ, please help us to continue to put our trust in Him and the work of the Spirit in our lives. We desire to grow spiritually and please remove all hindrances to this growth in our lives. Thank you in Jesus name amen.
