Dear Friend,

These are extremely challenging times for everyone, and we want you to know that we are here to keep you up to date on the latest developments in giving opportunities. The recent CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) of March 27, 2020, offers some exciting opportunities for supporting the mission of It Is Written.

Here is an outline of those options made available only for tax year 2020:
  • You may deduct up to 100% of your taxable income on gifts made to It Is Written or other public charities. Deductible amounts are normally limited to 60% of adjusted gross income (AGI).
  • Even non-itemizer individuals are eligible for a $300 charitable deduction ($600 for a couple) for gifts made to It Is Written. This deduction reduces taxable income thus reducing taxes paid.
  • Qualified Charitable Rollover (QCR) remains unchanged. Required minimum distributions (RMD) are waived for most qualified plan participants for tax year 2020. Even without a required minimum distribution, qualified charitable distributions offer tax savings for most.
It Is Written offers a robust, highly-experienced estate and planned giving services department. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any inquiries regarding the above referenced provisions or for any estate planning or planned giving question or need.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support of It Is Written.

Building Rockets? ðŸš€

Dear Friend of It Is Written,

It isn't easy to change the world. Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson are finding that out the hard way. How? By building (and crashing) rockets. They have set out to change history–whether that is to change the future of military intelligence, or change how we travel, or colonize another planet. Regardless of their reasons, they are pouring their fortunes into finding success. But along the way, they lose a few rockets and might spend a few billion dollars learning what works and what doesn't. Somehow the richest men in the world think the innovation is worth it.

Over the last four weeks, It Is Written began changing the way we do evangelism. Last weekend, It Is Written tried something it had never tried before. We set out to reach tens of thousands of people on social media and invite them to a virtual series.

Tens of thousands of people responded sharing with us their contact information. As of this writing, nearly 70,000 people have registered for Hope Awakens and most are not Seventh-day Adventists.

At the same time, hundreds of churches also engaged with us, wanting to be on the cutting edge of something new and innovative. Data poured in, and software engineers worked around the clock for days to set up, sort, and track the information and give it back to churches to follow up with people who had registered and then nurture them as they attended online meetings.

What I know is this: God is trying to change the world. He is trying to turn every heart to Him. It won't be easy, and we shouldn't be surprised by a few crashes. He is the owner of everything, the richest king of the universe, and He is investing in souls.

So is It Is Written. Tomorrow night, Hope Awakens is back for our fifth presentation, "From Failure To Victory." God wins this battle. His eternal space program works and will result in countless souls eternally saved.

I'm encouraged. The Lord has blessed our team with the ability and skill to overcome obstacles and press on undeterred. We are following up with each person who has registered. Churches and Bible workers are reaching out to the people who have signed up in their territories. Thousands are watching the programs. This is a new day for evangelism. It may start online but it ends with personal contact with hearts and lives.

Right now, Pastor Robert Costa is sharing Christ in the three Americas and Western Europe. His online series began with nearly a quarter million views and has had 170,000 views consistently throughout the series. Early in May, our Hope Awakens meetings in Spanish begin here in the United States, and we are working on programs in Romanian, Vietnamese, French, and Icelandic. We are also working with churches in Australia and New Zealand to run a Hope Awakens campaign similar to the one we are running here in the States. Revelation Today: Hope Awakens is just getting started.

Tomorrow night, watch Hope Awakens at hopeawakens.org at 7 p.m., 10 p.m., or 1 a.m. EDT. Please also unite with me in prayer that the people attending these meetings will hear what God wants them to hear and that the Holy Spirit will reach their hearts. Tomorrow I will ask for the first decision–the decision to accept Christ as Lord and Savior. Pray that God's Spirit will intervene and touch hearts.

Thank you for your support of Hope Awakens. We still have 16 messages, and Satan will continue to work. This is our time to remain vigilant and aware and close to Jesus. If you are able to support this project financially, please click here and support these meetings.

We aren't trying to save ourselves by working to get off the planet, but we are trying to tell as many as possible that King Jesus is coming to pick us up on a cloud...very soon!

May God bless you.

John Bradshaw

Hope Awakens Night 1 Update

Posted by Paradise Valley Adventist Video Ministries

Dear Friends of Hope Awakens and It Is Written,

When Satan couldn't take out the It Is Written global, online evangelistic series with tornadoes, he doubled down and attacked again through technology.

I'm extremely sorry that we were met with technological challenges on the opening night of Revelation Today: Hope Awakens. Our ongoing investigations have revealed that we were the victim of what appears to be a targeted, malicious attack. This shouldn't surprise us. There's an enemy who does not want to see heaven's message of hope proclaimed. Similar attacks have brought down banks such as Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase, and Silicon Valley companies like GitHub and CloudFlare. The attack started just before Hope Awakens began at 6:45 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and lasted until five minutes before we went off the air. I'm extremely grateful our team was able to redirect much traffic to alternative viewing options. We still had tens of thousands of views of the program last night. But I'm absolutely heartsick that many people were not able to participate in the opening night's presentation.

As we continue to investigate what happened last night, we expect that tonight will go ahead without disruption. Our team is prepared for what we simply could not have foreseen last night. The gospel won't be defeated. I'm grateful for these two promises right now: 1 John 4:4 says, "He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world," while 2 Corinthians 13:8 says, "For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth." And I'm grateful for your prayers. Thank you for lifting up Revelation Today: Hope Awakens and our team at It Is Written.

Remember that last night's presentation can be viewed on the It Is Written Facebook page and will be later available in the archive section at hopeawakens.com. Tonight we're going to go ahead knowing God has directed our IT team to an effective solution. You can join us at 7 p.m., 10 p.m. or 1 a.m. EDT at hopeawakens.com to watch.

I apologize for this disruption. If there was anything we could have done to prevent it, we'd have done it. But we're back on tonight, and I'm grateful to God. This is His message.

Please stand with me in prayer at this time, trusting God that this attack on the sharing of His Word will turn to His glory. Your prayers and financial support are so crucial at this time and are greatly appreciated. We realize like never before that we are in hand-to-hand combat with the enemy. There are forces determined to prevent God's message from being shared. It tells me what an opportunity we have to lift Him up. His promise remains: "This gospel of the kingdom SHALL be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; And then shall the end come" (Matthew 24:14). If you'd like to support our efforts, you can do so here

May God bless you.
