From the desk of John Bradshaw

I received a letter a few days ago that reminded me again how grateful I am for your support of It Is Written. Stories like this show how your investment in soul winning truly changes lives. The letter was from a lady I'll call Monica, who wrote from Illinois: "I wanted to write to share how much I have enjoyed your ministry and programs over the past year. I first started watching the weekly program on TV, then I got the app and got hooked on Every Word and the Revelation Today series. These saw me through some challenging personal times and were tremendous in deepening my faith and understanding of God's Word."

It Is Written 2020 Mission Trips ✈

Posted by Paradise Valley Adventist Video Ministries

View this email in your browser
Dear friend,

"Why should I go on a mission trip?" is a question that a lot of people ask. A good friend of mine shared with me this powerful testimony, which answers the question so well.

After rapping on the front door, I heard a cheery voice call, "Coming." Soon the door swung open and there, taking up the entire doorway, stood a large man with an infectious smile. Upon seeing me, he invited me in.

After a few pleasantries, he asked, "Did I ever tell you about the first time I went on a mission trip with your dad?" I smiled, remembering that story well. Almost 30 years ago, my dad had said to this once hard-living man, "Jack, you need to come with me on a mission trip." To which Jack retorted, "I'll go if someone pays the bill." The next day, my dad showed up with the money in hand for the airfare. Jack was SO shocked that he decided to go on that mission trip!

Because of that mission trip experience, God transformed a rough man into the tenderest of men; a foul-mouth cusser into a man who can't help but share with all his love for Jesus who saves to the uttermost. All because of that mission trip experience.

Isn't that a great story?! Mission trips have an amazing way of changing people and drawing them closer to Jesus. Do you desire a closer walk with Jesus? Join It Is Written on one of its mission trips in 2020. Whether you are a student or retired, a plumber or a nurse, or whatever, there's a place for you to share the good news of Jesus. Check out our list of mission trips below and contact us if you're interested.

God bless you,

Phoenix Revelation Today meetings are underway! ðŸ“–

Posted by Paradise Valley Adventist Video Ministries

Revelation Today: Phoenix Meetings Are Underway

After months of planning, It Is Written's Revelation Today evangelistic series opened on Friday, September 27 at the Mesa Convention Center in the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. I was excited to see how your support of It Is Written resulted in so many people gathering with open hearts and open Bibles. Together, the large crowd and I took a journey through history and the amazing prophecy of Daniel 2.

Right after that first meeting, a woman approached me and told me she's been watching It Is Written on TV since 2015. "I just love the program, and when I saw advertising saying you were going to be holding a seminar in person, I just had to be there." She's enjoying the series immensely and even said she was planning to tell her friend–who also enjoys It Is Written–to fly in from Minnesota so she could attend also! "I so appreciate the ministry of It Is Written," she told me. "This is such a blessing to me. Through It Is Written I've learned and grown so much."

Many expressed their appreciation for the night's presentation. Rosa, who just a day earlier was praying for her family to attend, introduced me to her son. Daniel was amazed at the message presented from the Bible. Many are clearing their schedules to continue attending Revelation Today because they're hungry for truth.

The children attending are enthralled with the brand new My Place With Jesus Buried Treasure children's evangelism program. Learning about creation week, the children were asked to draw a picture of God resting, and several children chose to draw God sitting on a couch enjoying His creation. When it was time to close, one child prayed a beautiful prayer for him and his fellow attendees: "God, we pray that all our names will be written in the Book of Life." I think we can all echo this prayer for Phoenix and the world.

"I've been listening to some of what he's saying and it's really interesting," said Lexi, one of the convention center workers, as she tidied the room Saturday night. "I like that he's shown that the Bible is proven true by history." Lexi, who grew up unchurched, is fascinated by these new findings and intrigued to hear more.

While I'm in Phoenix, Eric Flickinger, my associate speaker at It Is Written, is conducting a series of meetings in Hagerstown, Maryland. Eric's meetings are off to a great start. "We've got a lot of excited people here who are learning new things and loving what they're learning. The Holy Spirit is working powerfully." Please join me in praying that hearts will be touched and lives changed through these meetings.

This week's episode

The beautiful islands of the Bahamas were once home to pirates like the notorious Blackbeard, whose lawless reign of terror on the high seas struck fear into countless hearts. Lawlessness exists today–and it even exists in the church! Join John Bradshaw on location in the Bahamas and discover the origin of lawlessness, the reason it thrives today, and the Bible's prescription for living in harmony with God.
