Summary: God showed Daniel a sweeping vision of world history and then waited for him to ask what it meant. He wanted to pique Daniel's curiosity and engage him. The same happened with Moses and the burning bush. God wants us to be curious about and interested in His work.

Verse: "I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made me know the interpretation of the things..."
