Costa Rica Mission Trip Underway

Hello there, Friend. I hope things are going well in your corner of the world.

I wanted to share a few pictures with you of our Costa Rica mission trip. The volunteers arrived last week and got right to work building a church in a town without one. They're also conducting medical clinics and preaching each night. They've been busy!

From top left: Volunteers at work constructing church walls, a woman was very happy to receive a pair of reading glasses, feminine kits were distributed after church to local women and girls, and two mission volunteers check a woman's blood pressure.

Thanks for praying for the mission trip! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we've had to suspend all further mission trips until 2022. We're looking forward to restarting then!

But I am convinced that the signs of the times tell us Jesus' return is near. We're counting down the years! This month It Is Written celebrates its 65th anniversary.

This week's episode

In rural England, a monument stands to one of the great heroes of the Reformation. He grew up far from the center of attention, but history remembers him as one of the giants. While others preached or developed doctrines, this man poured himself into translating and printing. His legacy? The Bible. Join me on location in England and explore the life of William Tyndale, the man who translated the Bible into English.
