Dear Friends of Hope Awakens and It Is Written, When Satan couldn't take out the It Is Written global, online evangelistic series with tornadoes, he doubled down and attacked again through technology. I'm extremely sorry that we were met with technological challenges on the opening night of Revelation Today: Hope Awakens. Our ongoing investigations have revealed that we were the victim of what appears to be a targeted, malicious attack. This shouldn't surprise us. There's an enemy who does not want to see heaven's message of hope proclaimed. Similar attacks have brought down banks such as Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase, and Silicon Valley companies like GitHub and CloudFlare. The attack started just before Hope Awakens began at 6:45 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and lasted until five minutes before we went off the air. I'm extremely grateful our team was able to redirect much traffic to alternative viewing options. We still had tens of thousands of views of the program last night. But I'm absolutely heartsick that many people were not able to participate in the opening night's presentation. As we continue to investigate what happened last night, we expect that tonight will go ahead without disruption. Our team is prepared for what we simply could not have foreseen last night. The gospel won't be defeated. I'm grateful for these two promises right now: 1 John 4:4 says, "He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world," while 2 Corinthians 13:8 says, "For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth." And I'm grateful for your prayers. Thank you for lifting up Revelation Today: Hope Awakens and our team at It Is Written. Remember that last night's presentation can be viewed on the It Is Written Facebook page and will be later available in the archive section at hopeawakens.com. Tonight we're going to go ahead knowing God has directed our IT team to an effective solution. You can join us at 7 p.m., 10 p.m. or 1 a.m. EDT at hopeawakens.com to watch. I apologize for this disruption. If there was anything we could have done to prevent it, we'd have done it. But we're back on tonight, and I'm grateful to God. This is His message. Please stand with me in prayer at this time, trusting God that this attack on the sharing of His Word will turn to His glory. Your prayers and financial support are so crucial at this time and are greatly appreciated. We realize like never before that we are in hand-to-hand combat with the enemy. There are forces determined to prevent God's message from being shared. It tells me what an opportunity we have to lift Him up. His promise remains: "This gospel of the kingdom SHALL be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; And then shall the end come" (Matthew 24:14). If you'd like to support our efforts, you can do so here. May God bless you. Pastor John Bradshaw It Is Written |
