Dear Friend of It Is Written, It isn't easy to change the world. Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson are finding that out the hard way. How? By building (and crashing) rockets. They have set out to change history–whether that is to change the future of military intelligence, or change how we travel, or colonize another planet. Regardless of their reasons, they are pouring their fortunes into finding success. But along the way, they lose a few rockets and might spend a few billion dollars learning what works and what doesn't. Somehow the richest men in the world think the innovation is worth it. Over the last four weeks, It Is Written began changing the way we do evangelism. Last weekend, It Is Written tried something it had never tried before. We set out to reach tens of thousands of people on social media and invite them to a virtual series. Tens of thousands of people responded sharing with us their contact information. As of this writing, nearly 70,000 people have registered for Hope Awakens and most are not Seventh-day Adventists. At the same time, hundreds of churches also engaged with us, wanting to be on the cutting edge of something new and innovative. Data poured in, and software engineers worked around the clock for days to set up, sort, and track the information and give it back to churches to follow up with people who had registered and then nurture them as they attended online meetings. What I know is this: God is trying to change the world. He is trying to turn every heart to Him. It won't be easy, and we shouldn't be surprised by a few crashes. He is the owner of everything, the richest king of the universe, and He is investing in souls. So is It Is Written. Tomorrow night, Hope Awakens is back for our fifth presentation, "From Failure To Victory." God wins this battle. His eternal space program works and will result in countless souls eternally saved. I'm encouraged. The Lord has blessed our team with the ability and skill to overcome obstacles and press on undeterred. We are following up with each person who has registered. Churches and Bible workers are reaching out to the people who have signed up in their territories. Thousands are watching the programs. This is a new day for evangelism. It may start online but it ends with personal contact with hearts and lives. Right now, Pastor Robert Costa is sharing Christ in the three Americas and Western Europe. His online series began with nearly a quarter million views and has had 170,000 views consistently throughout the series. Early in May, our Hope Awakens meetings in Spanish begin here in the United States, and we are working on programs in Romanian, Vietnamese, French, and Icelandic. We are also working with churches in Australia and New Zealand to run a Hope Awakens campaign similar to the one we are running here in the States. Revelation Today: Hope Awakens is just getting started. Tomorrow night, watch Hope Awakens at hopeawakens.org at 7 p.m., 10 p.m., or 1 a.m. EDT. Please also unite with me in prayer that the people attending these meetings will hear what God wants them to hear and that the Holy Spirit will reach their hearts. Tomorrow I will ask for the first decision–the decision to accept Christ as Lord and Savior. Pray that God's Spirit will intervene and touch hearts. Thank you for your support of Hope Awakens. We still have 16 messages, and Satan will continue to work. This is our time to remain vigilant and aware and close to Jesus. If you are able to support this project financially, please click here and support these meetings. We aren't trying to save ourselves by working to get off the planet, but we are trying to tell as many as possible that King Jesus is coming to pick us up on a cloud...very soon! May God bless you.
