Read Acts 14:27 and 15:4. Why do you think reports were brought into the church?

When they reported it served as a means to show what God was doing through them. Reporting is a testimony of the power of God and it encourages others to do the same. By sharing the stories of ministry it lets people know what God can do for them if they so choose to work with him.

Read Mark 6:30. Why do you think the disciples reported to Jesus what they had done?

Jesus was their teacher and they were his students. By sharing with Jesus it gave the disciples an opportunity to get feedback from Jesus. I imagine that when sharing with Jesus He would offer insight on their work and success or failure.

If you were to report to the church your most recent evangelistic efforts, what would you say? What does your answer say about yourself and what about it, perhaps, might need some changing?

This lesson was very insightful as to the reason for reports. It is something that I have not thought about but makes sense. This is apart of my evangelism and ministry I pray it will continue to be a blessing to many.

Prayer: Lord God Almighty, We thanking for blessing us in ministry. Help us to continue working for you or to start and report to others what you have done. Thank you in Jesus name Amen.
