Posted: 04 Apr 2012 07:45 AM PDT Read through Acts 22:2–21. Paul's defense speech before the Jerusalem council is in the form of a personal testimony. What were some of the points he made in each section of his testimony?
Paul begins by sharing with us where he has come from through his personal testimony. Paul was of the strictest sect of the Jews and he was a persecutor of Christians. Paul shares his encounter with Jesus Christ and how He change him forever. After Paul’s encounter with Jesus Christ he was sent on a mission and his life was forever changed. The Paul who one was a persecutor of Christians is now a preacher of the Christian message. Consider the eternal difference between the lost and the saved, between eternal death and eternal life. In the long run, what else really matters? When we think of this it really does put things in perspective. My Lord have mercy upon us. Prayer:Lord God Almighty, We thank you for what you have done for us please grant us a testimony that we can share. Thank you in Jesus name Amen. |
