Read John 4:1–24. What important point about worship was Jesus making to the Samaritan woman in verse 21? Why was He pointing her away from specific places of worship?

When Jesus had an encounter with this woman she waned Him to settle the question of where the appropriate place to worship was. Jesus points out to the woman that there will come a time where they will not worship in specific places. Jesus wanted to explain to the woman what the essential characteristics of  worship  were.  Worship is not validated by a geographical location but but the location of you heart and allegiance.

In what ways can all the aspects of your worship experience help you deepen your relationship with God?

If when we worship we take time to reflect on what God has done for us personally, then it will help us to understand who He is and grow closer to Him. The most amazing thing that God has done for us was sending His son to die for us, reflecting on this event will help us to develop a relationship with God.
