Wendesday's Lesson - Bad Air, Good Air Read Genesis 1:26. What does this imply about our responsibility to the created world we have been given?

In this passage we find that God has given man the responsibility to take care of the earth. Man is responsible for all the animals on the earth. With this responsibility we must be mindful of the impact we have on the environment.

There is much talk these days about going green and being environmentally friendly. As Christians we should want do as little harm as possible to the earth. To what degree you take this depends on your conscience and your convictions. The bottom line is that we all have a responsibility to God and to His Creation.

Prayer: Father thank you for the entrusting us with your creation. Help us to take care of what you have given us. Help us to get the fresh air that we need and to help to not pollute the air you have given us. Thank you in Jesus name amen.
