Could there have been some justification for their complaints?       We all get tired of the same thing happening again and again.    It is possible that they saw this detour turning into another    long journey.       The were just delivered by the hand of the Lord and then they    turned around and the decided to complain yet again. It seems    very remarkable that they could do such a thing but I am    sure we ourselves are guilty of the same exact thing.       We must keep upon our minds continually what the Lord has done    for us in the past least we forget that He can deliver us in    the present. This is something that we all must remember.    What are some things that you take for granted in your life? Why is that such a foolish thing to do?       No matter how bad things get I must always remember that things    could be worse. God has blessed us with health and strength and    He as blessed us with life.       There are some countries which would love to have privileges    that are in other countries. We must count our blessings we    must reflect on the goodness of God, least a we forget all    that He has done for us.    Write out your own psalm of praise. Put in it all things that you have to be thankful for. Imagine if you were to sing it every day. How could this help you from falling into the sin of ingratitude and the dangerous traps it can lead to?       This will help as a reminder if we are tempted to complain about    where we are in life. Continually reflecting on what we can praise God    for helps us to remember what has done and to be content with what    He has given.    Prayer: Father your grace and mercy has overflowed upon me.Your blessings have filled my life in abundance.I thank you for the breath in my lungs and the strength in my body.My mind is sound sharp and active so I thank you. I praise you for those who love me and those whom you have given me to love. Thank you , Thank you , Thank you. In Jesus name amen |
