Read Numbers 21:5–9. How again do we see Moses in the role of intercessor? Why, especially now, did the people need an intercessor?

   We find in this passage that the people again slipped into a mode
   of complaining. They complained against Moses and they complained
   against God.
  
   Because of their complaining the Lord withdrew His protective
   hand and caused serpents to attack them. The people realized that
   this was a punishment as a because of their complaints and sought
   Moses for help
  
   Moses is interceded for the people because he provided
   a solution from God for the attack of the serpents. If the people
   would simply look to the remedy God gave they would have lived.
  
Read John 3:14, 15. How does Jesus relate the incident with the serpents to the plan of salvation? In what sense have we all been bitten by fiery serpents?
  
   Because of the first sin we have all been bitten by the serpent
   the Devil. The venom which he first injected into out parents
   has carried on its affects all the way to today.
  
   The only way in which we may overcome is to look to Jesus.
   We must look to Jesus and live.
  
How have you known in your own life the healing power of Christ, even now? What other hurts do you need to bring to Him for consolation, healing, and strength to move on despite what seems like insurmountable pain
  
   There is an awesome healing power when we come into a saving
   relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the one who heals all
   of our diseases(Ps 103:3), and mends our broken hearts. He is
   able to fix whatever the enemy has broken.
  
   His banner over us is love. (Song. 2.4)
  
Prayer: Father thank you that you have provided a way to be held from the devils destruction. Father today please help us to look to Jesus Christ and live. I pray that you will heal us from head to toe. Father please making us whole. May you be glorified by the work you do in us. Thank you , in Jesus name amen
