Posted: 08 Sep 2009 04:42 AM PDT According to the following texts, how are we given salvation?      1 John 1:9       In 1 John 3:8 it declares that Jesus was manifested to destroy the works    of the devil. Also in Mat. 1:21 the bible says that He shall save His    people from their sins.       Salvation is about us receiving Jesus as the one who can take away our    sins. In this passage the condition is that we confess, then He will be    faithful and Just to fulfill His part to cleanse us from all    unrighteousness.       1 John 2:2       This passage clearly reveals that Jesus is the person who is the one    who has taken away our sins. Jesus is the who takes away the    sins of the entire world. There is power in the blood of Jesus!       1 John 4:9, 10       Salvation is all about the God manifesting His love in the gift of    His son for us. Love is not seen in that we love God, this is not    love , our love is only an outgrowth from the love which was first    shown to us. Considering the great promises and hope that we have in Jesus, what more could you do in order to reach more people with the good news? What sacrifices are you willing to make in order to give others the opportunity to know Jesus and His salvation?       By Gods'grace He will help us all to do more.    Prayer: Father thank you for your salvation. Help us to fully experience the blessings of your gift Jesus. In Jesus name I pray amen. |
