Summary: You're not held accountable for others' sins. The only sins you are held accountable for are our own. Likewise, others can't choose Christ for you. God isn't nearly so concerned with your pedigree as He is with your heart.

Verse: But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.'
