Summary: You're not held accountable for others' sins. The only sins you are held accountable for are our own. Likewise, others can't choose Christ for you. God isn't nearly so concerned with your pedigree as He is with your heart.
Verse: But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones."

Summary: One of the most frustrating things about living on Earth is the fact that nothing seems to last. But the grave doesn't have to be the last word in your life. Life is more enjoyable when you have hope, and that hope is found in Jesus!
Verse: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you."
—1 Peter 1:3-4
