| Posted: 22 Apr 2010 08:24 AM PDT "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isa. 40:31). Meditate upon this text. What promises can you take from it for yourself? How can you apply it to yourself? But they... The words proceeding this text talk about how youth grow weary and young men stumble badly(NASB). This passage suggests that even the strongest of people may sometimes grow weary. No matter how strong you are you are secure if you simply wait on the Lord. When we wait upon the Lord we are not trusting in our own strength our own wisdom nor our own ability but resting secure in the ability of God. God's ability is sufficient for anything that we may encounter. Let us cast all our cares upon Him and let Him strengthen us. How much water are you drinking each day? Make a conscious choice to keep track of how much water you are drinking, and if you're not getting enough, what's holding you back from doing something so simple and yet that holds so many benefits for you? Prayer: Drinking water is something so simple yet many of us miss this simply act which can improve our health immensely. In the same way help us to simply trust in your to provide our strength and vitality. Thank you Father in Jesus name amen. I would like to trust in God more. |
