What lessons should we draw from it?    In this passage we understand that the Levites were described as    gifts to Aaron. The idea of the leaders as gifts is something which    is revolutionary. If leaders in any line would see their office    as a platform to be a gift to for others in service this would    produce a different quality of leadership. Think about your innate talents, whatever they are. No matter how hard you work to cultivate them, they are still that—gifts, something given to you by God. What are you doing with those gifts? Are you using them for yourself or for the good of others and the furtherance of the Lord's work? Might you need to do some serious soul-searching and changing?       This is a very good question to ponder. I am reminded of the story    of the talents. I believe that we are required to render to God a    decent return on the talents that he has given us.    Prayer: Father we thank you for the gifts that you have given us. Please help us to be gifts in the offices that you placed us in with the gifts you have given us. Thank you Father in Jesus name amen. |
