What kind of spiritual lessons can be drawn from the use of these trumpets?    From this passage we can see that the trumpet had many purposes.    It was used to summon all the people before God, it was also    used to assemble the people for war. In addition to these two    it was used for celebrations and to assemble the leaders and    priests.       God's voice is like this trumpet. When God wants to deliver a message    He want's to be certain that everyone can hear it. When Jesus    comes back again He will come with the trumpet blast.       God always notifies us with a clear word so that we can understand    the message that He is giving. For the last days God has a message    that He is giving and He is summoning all the world to worship Him    who made the heavens and the earth.(Rev 14:7) What would you rather have: a silver trumpet bellowing in your ears, or the knowledge of the love, the character, and care of the One who, "being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross"? Phil. 2:6-8.       I would like to have the knowledge of a loving savior. Prayer: Father thank your for all that you have done. Help us to continually head your messages. In Jesus name amen. |
