| Posted: 16 Aug 2009 06:32 AM PDT What are some of the similarities between 1 John 3:11-24 and 1 John 4:7-5:4?    Both of these passages are talking about brotherly love.    Another type of love that they talk about is love in the    context of the Judgment. Both passages bring out how our    love should be manifested in practical ways. Also there is    no way that you can love God and at the same time hate your    brother.       Read again the passages for today's lesson. What specific point, or points, jump out at you, talk to you, convict you the most? How well are you doing in regard to what John says here? How well do you reflect toward others the love that God has toward you? What changes do you need to make in order to better show that love       We all have areas that we need to change in order to love the    way that we should. We need to live out the love of Christ    in our daily lives.       Prayer: Father please forgive us of our sins, grant us strength and your grace to do the same to others. Help us to manifest your love to all the same way you did to us. Thank you Father in Jesus name I pray amen. |
